YES! Finally, JC got some backbone. I loved it! I was holding my breath till the last few sentences. Very believable and I hope you didn't risk your job

And of course, I agree. Awesome update. JC is a mother bear and he protected his cub, Ethan.
 It seems like that is what gave JC the strength and balls to go
after the asshole. When he saw him touching Ethan, his protective instinct kicked in and he did what he had to do. Hopefully he now realizes that the asshole
can't hurt him anymore, and he and Justin can begin to heal, along with the rest of the family. But......knowing you, Louise, lol, I doubt that will
happen and I expect there will be more drama of couse.

Thanks guys. I had to find a way to bring this drama to somewhat of a closure where he starts to heal but it also had to be in a believable way. I have written
and rewritten the past couple of chapters because I didn't feel the chapters were staying true with JC's basic character. I couldn't just have him
all of a sudden get over it because that definitely isn't how he is, he hordes guilt and suffering like no other lol so I had to find away to help get him
past it and the only logical way I could think of to do that was to put one of his children in what he would see as harms way and then all his protective
instincts would kick in where he could finally see how truly strong he is. Now, I can work to get pissy, cranky, snarky pregnant JC back on track. lol

It really made sense as JC might not have fought for himself - thinking he was not worthy. However, try and harm one of his children - and all bets would be
off!

Yes, Justin will always have that nagging feeling in the back of his mind, but I hope that is where he keeps it. They have
come too far and been through so much for him to be anxious. I just hope that he is smart enough to hide it form JC. That is NOT something he needs to share.
Wow - 150 chapters. I will hate to see this end, but all good stories have to come to a conclusion. Kind of like - Michelle's Breeders series. I cried when that was over. As I know I will with this one. |

You may not have to pay for it I might just write it in somewhere. Now that I have this drama brought to an acceptable close it's time to focus on the fun
part of this story and we all know that's cranky pregnant JC and how he interacts with Justin, who never seems to learn not to annoy him.

Hahah JC was cracking me up at the end...with all his little comments...you're the cream in my coffee...etc. Glad he had a giggle fit...(I am thinking Reel NSYNC when he has the giggle fit on the bus). Can't wait to read more with snarky pregnant JC!

What a well written chapter. I think it really allows everyone - including JC - to see just how strong JC is...he's always had someone there to lean on,
but I loved the "mama" bear side coming out to protect. And the end, when they talk is just really nice to see that no matter what the connection is
there...the love is there. Nice job.

Thanks, I really do love this couple a lot so it always makes me happy that you guys are still enjoying and feeling the chapters how I was hoping you would.
I've put them through a lot of stuff over the past 149 chapters but I always want the love this family feels for each other to show because that is what
this story really is about. Someday though, it will all come to an end. How will we deal? lol
